Winn Meat Company, Division of Ben E. Keith Foods, has been providing food service clients with top quality meat products and services for more than 100 years. The company was originally founded as Bunting’s Wholesale Market in 1902. Robert Winn bought the company in 1974. Todd Winn and Walter Wilkerson continue the family tradition of service excellence that is now the hallmark of Winn Meat Company.
Acquired by Ben E. Keith Foods in 2008, Winn Meat Company is one of the leading restaurant and hospitality brands in the United States.
From specialty cuts to custom orders, Winn Meat Company is dedicated to giving its customers not only high quality products and services, but value. Capabilities range from sourcing unique products to in-house development of products to meet customer specifications. Winn Meat Company is proud of the many longstanding relationships built on a commitment to quality and service.
Located in Lone Star Industrial Park at I-30 and Hampton Road, Winn Meat Company is just three miles west of downtown Dallas, a convenient location to serve customers in all areas of the Southwest, with a focus on major Texas markets. The company maintains a fleet of trucks for in state deliveries, and uses the services of other food distributors and common carriers for deliveries outside the state.

Co-General Managers Todd Winn and Walter Wilkerson actively manage Winn Meat Company, along with Travis Holder,Operations Manager; Gary Grady, National Accounts Manager; and Jody Eden, Distribution/Warehouse Manager. This management team brings to Winn Meat Company many years of business experience, technical expertise and leadership with a commitment to customer service.
Winn Meat Company’s plant is under daily inspection by the Food Safety Inspection Service of the United States Department of Agriculture. As a federally inspected plant, the company is held to the highest industry standards of food safety. In addition to USDA inspection, the company voluntarily undergoes an annual food safety audit from Silliker Labs, a widely respected food safety auditor.
The management team and dedicated staff, several of whom have 20+ years of service, enable Winn Meat Company to offer value-oriented products and services with a personal touch. The company’s flat organizational structure and customer-oriented processes allow for a quick response to customers’ needs.
