We want to congratulate Chef Jamie Samford as he starts his new work as executive chef at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium!

Chef Jamie Samford accomplished much for the Winn Meat Company and Ben E. Keith Foods brands in his tenure as Winn’s Corporate Chef and Sales and Marketing Director, and all of his friends here at the company wish him every success. Our expert culinary team continues to work with Chef Jamie on great proteins and center-of-the-plate ingredients as he helps the Stadium bring wonderful food to guests everywhere at this major event destination.

Jose Vargas, Dallas/Fort Worth Sales Representative, Winn Meat Company, and Ron Boyd, Senior Vice President of Ben E. Keith Foods, have worked closely with Amy Phillips and Legends Hospitality Management Team to provide the finest quality ingredients and brands for their menus.  Great proteins for barbecue, hamburgers and steaks, Sterling Silver pork and beef and Nueske’s applewood smoked meats are just some of superior brands Winn Meat Company is providing.

Ben E. Keith’s expert food representative Joey Cryer also offices on site at the Stadium to work closely on a daily basis with the culinary team on all product procurement.  Cryer was selected from the Ben E. Keith team by Legends leadership for his food knowledge, culinary skills, ability to make things happen quickly and strong communications skills.  Cryer’s chef colleagues at Ben E. Keith also support foodservice on major events.

Keith teams are honored to be working closely with the wonderful Cowboys team of chefs on each event,” said Ron Boyd. “As our own team of chefs help the already stellar Legends team provide for and prepare great food for the thousands of guests at each event.”

The facilities at the new stadium have been built to provide amply for the massive attendance at all events. The stadium has 13 kitchens, with one even solely dedicated to cooking popcorn, and a team of over 200 culinary professionals.   All food served in the suites, along with all concessions, is house prepared by the culinary team.

Dallas Cowboys Stadium will host Super Bowl XLV in February 2011.

Legends Corporation, founded by Jerry Jones and George Steinbrenner, is the business entity created to prepare and serve all food for Cowboys Stadium guests.

Catering at Cowboys Stadium is handled through “Legends Corporation.”  Legends is a partnership combining the expertise in Food Service of both the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. This organization represents a collective gathering of 300 years in Stadium/Concession Services.

Menus reflecting the geographic differences and gourmet tastes are combined with good old fashioned American Sports Cuisine.
