The business partnership of Winn Meat Company with Ben E. Keith Foods that started in the 1990s grew into an official relationship in December 2008 when Ben E. Keith acquired the premier fine protein purveyor for the Southwest’s restaurant and hospitality industry.
Along with growing the business and expanding service to customers in major Texas and Southwest markets in 2009, Winn Meat Company and Ben E. Keith Foods have renovated Winn Meat Company’s Dallas headquarters. The capital expenditure was made at the Lone Star Drive location where the Winn Meat Company culinary and production teams hand-prepare the finest cuts of protein and house made recipes for our customers to meet and exceed their high standards for guests each and every day.
Benefits to the improvements include energy efficiency with new lighting, insulation and infrastructure. Production capacity has increased with improvements to Winn Meat Company’s detailed production facilities, doubling capabilities while still maintaining the culture of meeting every specification requested by our customers in our Chef-driven service and communication.
These production improvements only enhance Winn Meat Company’s industry leadership in the areas of food safety – standards that have won the company the highest honors from food safety auditing organizations for years.
